On: every photo goes through face detection and the guest can find themselves with a selfie. Off: the gallery is just photos, and indexing is much faster. Turn it off for a shoot of one single person, where there is nothing to look up.

Bakes only what you have added or changed since last time. Everything already done stays untouched. This is what you want when you upload a second day, or drop in a fresh batch.

Redoes every photo. Takes as long as the first run. Only needed if you changed the image sizes, the model or the detection size in .env, or if you suspect something came out wrong.

On: every 15 minutes the Drive folder is checked, and if there are new photos the gallery re-indexes on its own. Use it while an event is live. It switches itself off after 48 hours with no new photos.

Off: the link carries an access code, so only people you send it to can open the gallery. On: the link is just the address, which is shorter and tidier, but anyone who guesses the name gets in. Leave it off for corporate events.

Off: the gallery shows no face search at all, and the next index skips face detection, which makes it much faster. Nothing already calculated is deleted: turn it back on and everything is where you left it. Switching it needs a re-index to change how long the next one takes.

The originals stay where they are, in the TAB Drive folder. This app can only read them, never touch them.
